With 30 years in the industry, Melissa delivers a customized experience for each client, resulting in a hairstyle that is true to their personality and one they can replicate in their day-to-day lives. As a result, her clients feel confident after each appointment, knowing their hair can look great every day.
Melissa is also a certified trichologist and a non-surgical hair loss specialist. Trichology is the paramedical science that studies hair loss and scalp conditions. Trichology consultations will help identify causes of hair and scalp concerns and offer a holistic full body approach to treatments.
Melissa At Mia incorporates sustainable products and practices to ensure you receive the best service possible. In the relaxing atmosphere of her salon, she can provide you with the following (yet not limited to): hair color, cuts, makeovers, restructuring treatments, scalp massages, hair-loss consultations and treatments, non-surgical hair replacement, wig fitting, and more.

I started going to Melissa for hair replacement systems. I was balding and for a long time it didn’t think there was anything I could do to have hair again. I reached out to Melissa and she explained the products and the care required for the hair systems and that she could install and maintain them. Since starting it has been a wonderful experience. Melissa does a great job at maintaining my hair( system ). She is professional and knowledgeable. She always does a great job with my hair. She is great with communicating and accommodating scheduling and follow up appointments. I would highly recommend Melissa at Mia for her professionalism and expertise as a stylist.
As an Asian man, it has not always been easy to find a hair stylist who knows how to style my type of hair. Then I found Melissa, got my haircut from her, and I am very satisfied! She understands how to style different types of hair and was very mindful about what my personal preferences are regarding even very small details about my hair. On top of that, she was very kind and welcoming! I will certainly be coming back for my next haircut!
I was blown away at how amazing Melissa is! She was kind and so helpful when I wasn’t sure of the exact cut I wanted. I absolutely love my new hair cut and I can not wait to go back and catch up with her.
